Christina Sasselli, CRNP

Christina Sasselli, CRNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Chamberlain College of Nursing.

Before becoming a family nurse practitioner, Christina spent her nursing career in the hospital on the medical-surgical and stroke units. She became credentialed as a certified medical-surgical registered nurse and a stroke- certified registered nurse, holding active certifications.

Christina is very passionate about health promotion; her philosophy is that preventing an illness or disease is always better than treating one. She believes it is essential to meet her patients’ current needs promptly, connect with each patient, and understand their priorities and goals so they can achieve optimal health. Her ideology is not just to survive but to thrive. She helps her patients achieve vitality by building a trusting, therapeutic relationship through shared decision-making and active listening.

Christina is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland (NPAM). These nurse practitioner organizations allow Christina to engage with other nurse practitioners to promote the high standards of health care delivered by nurse practitioners and represent the interests of nurse practitioners to local, state, and federal government entities.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, doing pilates, yoga, walking, and most of all, spending time with her husband, sons, and adorable Bichpoo.
